Welcome Letter From Hotel Chains

Lucca and back ...

And eventually Lucca 2010 is gone.
As always I tried to fill the car up to the last passenger, so you spend as little as possible by dividing the travel between several people, but for one reason or another did not succeed (not I can never): there are those who chose to go with the coach of the comics (arrival Lucca at about 10.30, re-start at 18.30, basically you can not see anything or almost), who just could not that day, who was sick of Lucca "because it's the same old", who is in the bill ... In short, this year we had the usual three. Indeed, the usual two, as the third person was sick and did not come, and nobody thought to tell me before, so I discovered that morning.
The trip went smoothly as usual: Genova-Lucca is virtually a straight road, no bumps, almost impossible to get lost. Departure at 6.30am and arrive at 8:30, break for breakfast. Accreditation has required a few minutes, as to buy a ticket for my travel companion. The fair there are so enjoyed by the once, at the opening of 9, when people are still few and turns that is a pleasure. Unfortunately there was just a first problem: the stand of the publishers, who wanted to visit first to see if there were any Japanese author to sign autographs, it was still closed due to power failure, so I had to let go and started the tour elsewhere. Of course when I returned an hour after the bookings for the autograph sessions were now all gone, so this year I was a dry mouth (actually in the afternoon I happened to notice an autograph session Keiko Ichiguchi, but is not exactly one of my favorite author ...). However, the morning passed quietly exploring the stands of the old Japan and the Palace, but overall I did not find anything relevant. Accustomed as they are to buy online from stores and better offers several pre-orders and is now virtually impossible for me to find a retailer that sells merchandise to our national interest me at a price comparable to what I would cost abroad. However, if they want to go back to Lucca with at least one purchase at the end of the first lap of the stands I had three candidates: Ryomou Shimei or Yuki Nagato of Alter or Ayane of Kotobukiya . The first that I ruled it was Yuki: I like the version as "seat" of Alter , now I really have too many statues taken from Suzumiya Haru, Yuki and then a pre-order is already in 2011 . The play-off between Ryomou and Ayane has won the second, and because it was one that was cheaper and because it has long wanted a figure of my favorite character in Dead or Alive , and finally because it is a figure if because, whereas if I bought Ryomou knowing me I would feel obligated to buy the other characters Ikkitousen of produced by Alter , resulting in disbursement.
Hurry pvc practice, the rest of the day I went to fight the appalling crowd as always pack the stands outside the walls, one devoted to games, but does not find anything really interesting, a part of the Arcadia Aoshima who yearn for a long time, buying at the end but I preferred to postpone because of the considerable outlay required.
After a day so I arrived with some blu-ray ( Evangelion 2.22 and Sword of the Stranger , both taken at the booth DvdWeb, as prices that beat even the well "to show" the same Dynit) and launched several new manga preview of the fair, as the first volume of the much Five Star Stories, the the new series of GTO, and the jacket of the edition with Sailormoon! The rest of the time I happily spent admiring the cosplayers, as usual for most spectacular.
The day ended at 19 with the closure of the stands. By indicating brigade have avoided much of the huge queue of cars characterizes the re-start from Lucca. Two hours later we arrived in Genoa, where we waited for the signs of quell'allarme Weather 2 that would have flogged the next day on Sunday and Monday: we rather not even a drop of water on Saturday, indeed, the sky gave us also some sunburst and a pleasant temperature.
And now I just have to wait until 2011 Lucca ...
